An apostate party is one with self-denial of one's religious faith that has resulted in a conscious abandonment of allegiance. They have deserted their duties and obligations without consent or legal justification. Webster Dictionary
We have just read how Webster defines apostate. Let us now look to Gods word as to why it warns against apostasy and exhorts the perseverance of allegiance to faith in God.
"For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries." Hebrews 10:26-27.
The bible declares being in an apostate state (apostasy) as sin and describes it as follows: It is sinning willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, sinning willfully against truth of which we have had convincing evidence. The sin mentioned here is a total and final apostasy, when men with a full and fixed will and resolution despise and reject Christ, the only Saviour; despise and resist the Spirit, the only Sanctifier; and despise and renounce the gospel, the only way of salvation and the words of eternal life; and all this after they have known, owned and professed the Christian religion, and continue to do so obstinately and maliciously. For such, a dreadful doom awaits them. There remains no more sacrifice for such sins, no other Christ to come and save such sinners; for they sin against the last resort and remedy.
Who Is The Apostate Party?
The Democratic Party has been described as Chaldeans and Babylonians, men of wickedness and chaos. Can they also be the Apostate party? Does a dreadful doom await this party? Remember, there are many who use a measure of the truth using words as "God bless this country" and refer to God, yet, operate in complete opposite to the commandments of God. Is that willful sin?
The Republican Party holds to many more measures of the truth. The platform upon which this party stands, refer much more to the standards by which God commands his people to live. Yet, over the more recent years, they have compromised the truth and dealt with the ways of men like men and not remained steadfast with their faith in God. Willful sin is that which is done high handedly, with a raised, clenched fist in defiance of God and His commands. Only judgment awaits the one who sins willfully. Numbers 15:30-31. Yet, when remaining steadfast in God, with faith abiding, God will make it possible for one to come through with a high hand, confidently and in defiance of the ways of men. Exodus 14:8. When one compromises Gods truth are they sinning willfully? When one goes along with anything that is contrary to Gods commands, is that a willful act in defiance of God? Where does one draw the line? Well, one is either for God or against God. The line has already been drawn. One is either in allegiance to God and swears by that allegiance or they have abandoned that allegiance. Remember, an apostate person is one with self-denial of their religious faith, that has resulted in a conscious abandonment of allegiance. They have deserted their duties and obligations without consent or legal justification, and have run the risk of a dreadful doom.
This country was founded upon the principles of God and the Christian faith. The Democratic Party and the Republican Party are made up of individuals. These individuals are either Christians or they are not Christians. It is the responsibility of Christians to Speak The Truth In Love. God commands all those who accept His name to proclaim His love by speaking the truth. If one claims to be a Christian they have an awesome responsibility. No one must take God lightly for there is a heavy doom that will fall upon those that apostatize from Christ. Look to your own consciences to seek to know if you are an apostate party or person. Allegiance to God is union with the First Party.
